Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how the Rosh Gadol mobile application ("the app", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the app to predict World Cup 2026 match scores and compete in private leagues with friends.
1. Information we collect
When you sign in with Google, we collect:
- Your email address
- Your display name
- Your Google profile picture URL
When you use the app, we additionally store:
- Your match score predictions and general bets (Champion, Top Scorer)
- The leagues you create, join, or are a member of
- A push notification token (only if you enable notifications)
We do not collect your location, contacts, microphone, camera, health data, files, advertising IDs, or any payment information. The app contains no advertising and no in-app purchases.
2. How we use your information
- To authenticate you and keep you signed in
- To display your name and avatar to other members of leagues you join
- To calculate and display predictions, points, ranks, and leaderboards
- To send you push notifications (only if you enable them) about match results and rank changes
- To operate, maintain, and improve the service
3. Sharing of information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Limited data is shared with the following service providers solely to operate the app:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and realtime infrastructure
- Vercel — application hosting and serverless functions
- Google — sign-in via Google OAuth (your Google account email, name, and picture are returned to us by Google when you sign in)
- Expo — push notification delivery (only if notifications are enabled by you)
We also call third-party football data providers (e.g., API-Football) to retrieve fixtures, live scores, and betting odds, but we do not transmit any of your personal information to those providers.
4. Where your data is stored
Your data is stored in our Supabase database. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and encrypted in transit. Database storage is encrypted at rest by the provider.
5. Data retention
We retain your account data while your account is active. If you delete your account (see below), your personal information is removed within 30 days. Anonymous, aggregated statistics about predictions may be retained indefinitely.
6. Your rights
You may at any time:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Request that we correct inaccurate data
- Request that we delete your account and personal data
- Withdraw consent to push notifications (in your device settings)

7. Children's privacy
The app is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. No gambling
The app uses bookmaker odds only to weight the points awarded for correct predictions. There are no wagers, no real money or virtual currency, and no payouts of any kind.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
